Authority in Sport – Victor Lee Austin

Return to the book list for this category.

This paper explores three authorities in the life-abstraction that is sport: the referee, the coach, and the exemplary player.

The author uses one wonderful phrase contrasting, “ the abstraction of sport and the concreteness of human life”.

But overall the paper is not really relevant to sport and Christianity.
