(The Kaka story), Jeremy V Jones, Grand Rapids, Zondervan, 2010. ISBN 978-0-310-72003-4

The major weakness of this book is that the author has never met his subject. I found it bizarre to read a book where a primary source was my interview with Kaka for the Athletes in Action DVD, “The Prize, chasing the dream”. Other interviews of mine are also referred to.

For the non-American reader the amount of background material given – such as the statement that best clubs in the world are found in Europe - is tedious. That the author does not quite grasp how the Champions League works – groups and two-leg knock-out ties – is unfortunate.

I would not recommend the book, certainly not to a non American
