Lisa Pruett, Cross Training, 2016 ISBn 978-1-63357-072-6

The book consists of 40 "devotions for the runner's soul". The style is very much an "object lesson", using a running situation to make a spiritual point. There is no attempt to integrate theology and sport or to see sport as a Christian activity. The author, rather, writes: "While running early in the morning is good, seeking God in our first waking moments is even better". Why can't one seek God while running?
