The book consists of 90 three/four page chapters on inspirational sportspeople - Billy Jean King, Jesse Owens, Francois Pienaar, the All Blacks etc. There is a final chapter on himself and his battle with cancer. The chapter on Marta has her acknowledge God as the source of her talent. It is an easy read with interesting content.
I was left wondering what Vialli's role in the book was. He acknowledges help from two named people in finding the subjects of the book as, I imagine, his knowledge of cricket, rugby and baseball may not be extensive.
