The media centre where Stuart spent his day

"Football is not a matter of life and death, it is more important than that."

Bill Shankly, Liverpool Football manager

London Marathon 2010

Stuart worked at the London Marathon again this year – covering the women’s race for the Oxford Mail and doing a radio piece for Planet Sport. To listen go to Planet Sport then click on Planet Sport Show 52 - 28 April 2010 on the right

It is not as glamourous as it sounds - you spend about 8 hours inside, watching the race on big screens - see Media centre above - and waiting for athletes to appear for interview. A highlight was meeting a Kenyan runner called Emmanuel, who understood what his name meant.
