2008 visit
In April 2008 Stuart spent a week in Ost-Kamenogorsk, Kazakhstan. He was working with Dima and Margo who run a ministry called World Sports. The week was spent in meetings with a pastor and other staff of churches talking about how sports ministry could be developed in the city.
The city-wide schools' basketball tournament which Dima and Margo run was held when he was there. He helped with the tournament, presented prizes and spoke about Jesus to players and coaches.
Verité Sport has agreed to partner with World Sports in the hope of adding 5-10% value to the excellent ministry of World Sports.
PS Stuart says: "I presented prizes at the Ukraine churches football league and again at the Kazakhstan basketball tournament. Perhaps presenting prizes will become our distinctive contribution to sports ministry!"
